Community is a verb—so let’s practice it.

This is your invitation to share space to reconnect—with yourself, others, and the world. A weekly 75-minute circle to practice community: showing up, sharing our inner lives, and committing to tiny acts of connection. Not therapy, not a program, and certainly not like an exchange with ChatGPT—a held, confidential commons to practice being human together.

Why this matters now

We live in an age of curated feeds, algorithmic intimacy, and private fixes: chatbots that mimic care, social apps that trade attention for engagement, and healing spaces that are increasingly commodified and therapy that ranges widely in quality and effect. All of these have their place — but they don’t replace the good-old-civic habit of coming together in circles to be seen, practice care, and hold one another. This is an attempt to reclaim that communal muscle.

With this pilot, I want to test a simple idea: what happens when a small group of people commit to practicing community together?

A little about me: I’ve been researching, writing about, and gathering around the topic and experience of loneliness, connection, and belonging across Europe and Asia. I’ve been holding spaces that combine dialogue, somatics, creative prompts, and practices drawn from mindfulness, nonviolent communication, dyads, and other relational forms. Important: I’m not a clinician — I’m a facilitator and practitioner who’s doing their best to rebuild a sense of care and—yes—community.

Is this for you?

This is for people who:

  • Notice something missing in their relationships, personal or civic life

  • Want to practice connection and community as a muscle

  • Are curious about multi-modal ways of expression (journaling, drawing, movement, somatic prompts, dialogue, etc. )

  • Are willing to try small actions in the world and come back to share how it went;

  • Want a confidential, held, and non-judgmental space.

Please note that this is not a therapeutic space. While we will engage in deep conversations and emotional sharing, I’m not a licensed therapist or similar. If you are currently in therapy or receiving psychological support, please ensure that participating in this circle complements your existing care plan.
