Redesigning Relationships in Work, Culture, and Society

Loneliness, disconnection, and wellbeing are not only personal struggles — they shape culture, work, and society. Organizations, teams, and communities everywhere are searching for new ways to connect, care, and create community and belonging.

Through The Oneliness Project, I help organizations, brands, and communities reimagine how people relate to themselves, to each other, and to the world.

Drawing on over 10 years of experience in communications, curation, and community building, I help organizations translate their purpose into action.

I do this by sparking reflection and dialogue through workshops and gatherings, shaping stories and content that inspire connection, and designing experiences that turn insight into meaningful cultural change.

  • Speaking & Workshops

Talks, keynotes, and interactive workshops that spark awareness, deepen dialogue, and inspire culturalshifts. From conferences and festivals to internal team gatherings, I create spaces where participants reflect, connect more deeply, and leave with actionable practices for building more meaningful relationships.

Past speaking engagements include Future Days, TEDxPotsdam, The Conference, House of Beautiful Business, Unfinished Festival, L’Oréal Professional’s annual executive meeting, and others.

  • Storytelling & Content Strategy

I help leaders and organizations translate purpose into compelling stories and formats that engage teams, communities, and stakeholders. This includes internal communications, thought leadership, and content formats like podcasts, journals, and social media communications — all designed to surface ideas, spark dialogue, and inspire impactful change.

My work focuses on themes that shape culture and connection, including relational skills, loneliness, mental health, wellbeing, social change, and justice.

  • Experience Design & Adivsory

From intimate workshops to large-scale convenings, I design and advise on meaningful ways to bring people together through intellectual curiosity and play, depth, and openness. I support leaders, teams, and organizers in creating gatherings that leave participants moved — fostering deeper connection, reflection, and change. My experience spans program curation, facilitation, and strategic advisory, from community gatherings, management retreats to international business festivals.

Why work with me?

I’m not here to dazzle you with a laundry list of achievements (though, yes, I did help grow a global community and platform from a few hundred to now 50,000+ people at the House of Beautiful Business and collaborated with notable brands like Google, Salesforce, Porsche, SYPartners, and others).

What really matters is how I work. I get to the essence of things — whether that’s finding the story your audience will actually care about, curating the right mix of people and ideas, or shaping gatherings that leave participants moved, not just entertained.

My strength lies in bridging intuition with strategy: thinking deeply, but also rolling up my sleeves to make things happen. I bring care, empathy, and sharp analysis in equal measure, which means I can relate to your brand, organization, and stakeholders while keeping an eye on the bigger picture of culture and society.

And yes — I take the work seriously, but not too much when it comes to myself. Expect depth, a bit of playfulness, and the kind of collaboration that’s both rigorous and enjoyable.

What Collaborators Say

“Monika came into our team like a ray of sunshine, supporting our marketing efforts as we build community and promote our events. Her approach combines humanity, clarity, and execution. She has elevated our current systems and shared best practices, insights, and writing that support growth and action. Monika operates with grace and thoughtfulness, allowing each team member to contribute and shine. It has been an honor to work alongside her and learn from her experience and methodology.”

Kes Camara, Omek

“Monika is the rare professional who combines intuition with logical reasoning, great care and empathy with bold vision and creative courage. She can “think outside the box” while also flawlessly executing within the box. She’s a natural leader, original thinker, trusted client liaison, collaborative team player, and a charismatic and authentic host and facilitator. Because of her smart wit, she’s also a lot of fun to work with.”

— Tim Leberecht, House of Beautiful Business

“Monika is an exceptional emcee, facilitator, and event curator. We were lucky enough to engage her as the emcee for our organization's first Europe-based event, and not only did she brilliantly hold the space and intuitively manage the energy in the room on the actual day, but she also became a close collaborator and advisor in helping us develop the gathering. Her insights helped make our event even better than we anticipated. I can't recommend Monika enough!”
